Craft Beer & Wood-Fired Pizza in East Nashville

Nashville's favorite brewpub serving house-brewed pints and wood-fired pies since 2013 at 903 Main Street.

About Us

Smith & Lentz Brewing and Pizza started as a two-man garage operation and now anchors East Nashville's craft scene at 903 Main Street. Walk inside and the aroma hits first: bubbling marinara, toasted malt, and wood smoke from the 800-degree oven. Their flagship pilsner and kölsch pour bright and clean, while the rotating IPA list keeps locals guessing what hop-forward surprise is on deck. The dough ferments for 48 hours, creating that signature chew and leopard-spotted crust that makes the Supreme pizza taste like it belongs at a five-star table instead of your neighborhood pub. A dog-friendly patio with cornhole and live local music most weekends keeps the energy high without feeling chaotic. Whether you're grabbing a quick takeaway pie or settling in for an afternoon flight, Smith & Lentz delivers the rare combination of serious beer credentials and genuinely great food that keeps Nashvillians coming back.

What We Offer

Wood-fired pizzas baked at 800 degrees with 48-hour fermented dough, house-brewed beers including crisp pilsner, kölsch, and hop-forward IPAs, garlic bread loaded with roasted garlic and herbs, family-style salads, and daily rotating specials. Takeaway and delivery available through their online ordering system. The covered back patio welcomes dogs and features cornhole, board games, and live music on weekends. Private events and large-party reservations can be booked for birthdays, rehearsal dinners, and corporate happy hours. Growler fills and crowler packs let you take the beer experience home. Seasonal releases and limited barrel-aged batches drop throughout the year—follow their social channels to catch the next drop before it sells out.

"This is, by far, the best pizza in Nashville!!! The Supreme “taken to prom” took us by surprise! Normally, we don’t order supreme, but this one was absolutely perfect. The crust stayed crispy and delicious. Every bite was flavorful! $4 is a bit pricey to pay for extra seasonings and parm though. AKA taking it to prom. Don’t waste your money paying $2 extra for cold tomato dipping sauce though."

"Pizza is fantastic. So is the garlic bread. The dough they use is amazing. You can smell the marinara from outside when you get out of your car! Beer will make you want to hang out all day though! They also make phenomenal ice cream!"

"We got the margarita pizza and it was so good. We asked for a side of garlic butter for the crust and that was a solid upgrade! We will definitely be back next time we are in town. The Sourdough and Brown Butter Caramel ice cream was elite. An absolute must order!"
